Investigating
Drain outside my drive 24 Low Church Road.Middle Rasen.
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2865812.
This has been an issue since I moved here in 2003!I know some work was done a few years ago.However during heavy rain we always get this lake.It has become a joke in the village.But it is not to me.We have to drive in and out into the deepest part of the standing water to get onto the drive. Cars drive on the wrong side of the road.Some motorists go through this at speed sending waves of dirty water across the pavement and up the drive. I know you will come back with the fact there has been a lot of rain etc.I totally understand this.However, other drains manage to clear standing water quickly so there must be an issue with this one. Twenty years of this!!!! Please help.It would be helpful if someone could come and see this when it is flooded and not a few days later when it has eventually drained away leaving filthy sludge.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
