35 Stewton Lane / Railway Walk

Reported via mobile in the Standing water covering more than half the road category anonymously at 22:27, Tue 16 December 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2865955.

Repeated flooding. I cannot leave my property safely on foot. The railway walk is not accessible again. Last week when the water finally went down there was deep wet mud left along both sides of the road. It has rained today and the road is completely flooded again. Dangerous for vehicles and pedestrians. Causing permanent damage to my front wall.

  • Why do you need to investigate further? This issue has been ongoing for over a year, you've repeatedly investigated it and closed the reports. LCC staff and contractors have been on site, measurements have been taken and test pits have been dug and filled in but still no actual visible action to resolve the issue, not even an interirm solution to remove the water by roadsweeper after heavy rain.

  • The last few days rain have seen the Lane fill up again. Today I have returned home, unable to even drive into my property because the water has caused damage to this vehicle that is now sat blocking my property / driveway. This week alone we have seen a man with a walking stick having to climb the muddy bank, a mobility scooter trying to navigate through, a young girl slip. What has to happen for this issue to be resolved?

  • Flooded even worse today, any updates yet?
