This flooding in North Street outside Rasebrook farm is getting ridiculous. Both the road and the pavement are completely impassable for pedestrians and it's next to the nursery and primary school. It's damaging vehicles it's so deep not to mention the hidden pot holes. You already know the drains are blocked collapsing. It's been like this for years according to the post man. Absolutely disgraceful!!

All very well asking for politeness, but it's not your cars or vans being damaged. The issue has been present for a number of years according to locals. It does not take a lot of rain to cause it to flood and once rain has stopped it takes days to subside!!

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

There's still deep standing water, not able to pass without wellington boots. Not ideal for school starting back next week.
