Severe Road Surface Degradation

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2866952.

I||because.purified.draining Road surface badly broken and cracked with large potholes and steps in road surface along a 10 metre stretch. Location 3 of 8 within an area of general surface degradation over a 500 metre stretch of road. Surface reported several times but no repair action has been taken. Longitudinal steps causing vehicles to slip sideways across road or swerve onto opposite side to avoid.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

You’ll see from the photograph taken this morning (17 Feb 26) that this stretch of defective road most definitely hasn’t been fixed. I do hope LCC hasn’t wasted taxpayer funds on yet another job not completed?
