Large vehicles pull on to the grass verges causing deep ruts, and then proceed to drag the mud across my driveway causing muddy ruts, which has now made it difficult to drive on and off my drive carefully when accessing the road slowly for safety. The BT boxes have various broadband companies accessing them and have dug across the intersection of my driveway and the main road, but do not 'make good' the area (ie. tarmac!), so causing the junction between my driveway to the highway to deteriorate and leaves a muddy, watery hole. In general, road users seem to think it is acceptable to drive onto the grassed areas (which I believe are your responsibility?) and continue on across my driveway to rejoin the highway!

Good afternoon in response to your enquiry if BT or another utility company haven't reinstated your drive correctly then this is something you will need to raise with that company. You can contact them at https://www.openreach.com/ help-and-support/ damage-health-and-safety In regards to the verge we understand that vehicles pull off the carriageway to carry out works and this can leave ruts especially in winter months, we will monitor the verges on our routine safety inspections. Thankyou for your reply. However, I think you haven't fully understood the nature of my request. Vehicles do pull on to the grass verges to park when working on the BT boxes, but the large ruts are caused by traffic pulling over to allow oncoming traffic to pass, ie wider loads like trucks or the holiday park at the bottom of the road moving park homes on and off site (although this is more in Autumnal months). It would be appreciated if someone could actually come to view the grass verges, rather than rely on pictures I have taken on my phone. The whole length of the road appears to have undulations from side to side, possibly caused by the tarmac possibly not have the correct foundation, therefore causing vehicles to move sideways across the road towards oncoming traffic, which is possibly why some drivers pull off to avoid oncoming traffic? I do feel someone should come out to assess the situation, before making your final decision. I have lived here for 4 years and never had an issue like this before. I appreciate it has been quite wet recently, but this damage seems to be quite excessive! I have also contacted BT as you suggested.
