Full length of Campion Drive and most of Burchnall Close

Reported via mobile in the Loose chippings category anonymously at 15:37, Mon 29 December 2025

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2867253.

Following the poor council resurfacing job, the area is covered in a lot of loose surface chipping. This makes the road dangerous to cyclist and pram/wheelchair users. The loose chippings significantly reduce grip under tyres and cause significant damage to vehicle bodywork.

  • The cold, wet weather has made this issue worse. Strips of the poorly laid resurfacing material have come away creating even more loose chippings. It’s like driving on gravel in places. Whoever was awarded the contract to do this resurfacing job needs to be pursued to refund the fees paid. It is a terrible quality job.

  • The surface continues to deteriorate, with large patches where the top dressing has come away leaving undressed tarmac and gravel strewn all over the road and pavements. The road is worse that before the redressing was carried out.
