• Dear sirs

  I reported via fix my street of the shameful road resurfacing on Abbey Road in Swineshead a while back. I received notification that no further action would be taken and this was my reply.

  I have received notification via Fix My Street that indeed you are NOT fixing my street and are obviously more than happy to spend my council tax on shoddy workmanship.

  However I am not really surprised given this government’s poor level of support for local councils.

  Thank you for your efforts, although if there was a tripadviser version for Road maintenance I’d give your contractors 1 out of 5, and that’s just for turning up (eventually). If I was contracting them I would never have signed the work off.
