Reported via mobile in the Obstruction (Road/Pavement) category anonymously at 12:33, Monday 5 January 2026

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2867814.

There are no dropped kerbs at this junction which forces walkers and wheelchair users to have to go up into the cul de sac to the first house driveway to avail themselves of a dropped kerb to be able to cross this road. Please install dropped kerbs to facilitate all users the safety to cross the road. Thank you

  • Further to your enquiry we apologise for the delay in our response, the Highways Officer has assessed your request for the provision of dropped crossing points across the junction of Rowan Way in Metheringham. We must ask that you contact your local County Councillor for the area for their consideration to support your request. As I am sure you are aware the County Council receives many such requests, and the placement of new crossing points needs to be carried out with a general overview of the area in question. Please note that all requests made by your County Councillor will still need to be audited for safety before a final decision is made. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
