Belton Avenue, Grantham, just before first corner

Reported via desktop in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 15:17, Saturday 10 January 2026

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2868613.

Although this pothole and sinking road has already been reported, it is now like a crater and difficult to miss on this narrow road, right on a corner. Yellow lines around it marked 6.8 x 2.5 (presumably metres to be replaced) have now faded almost to nothing. Can it please be sorted soon, and could the repair team please clear up the near barrow load of loose tarmac that is on the road against the kerb, as the road sweeper hardly ever comes this way, maybe once a year if we're lucky.. Thank you.
