Investigating
Whole of Clint Lane
Reported via mobile in the Uneven surface category anonymously at 12:02, Sunday 11 January 2026
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2868735.
The road is in a generally terrible state. The surface is poor and bumpy. The whole road was surface re-dressed maybe 12-24 month ago and is probably worse now than it was before then. When I drive from my home in the journey to the top of the road has my van shaking so much that any drink in a cup holder despite being a travel mug is bouncing out and covering my dashboard. I don’t say that for humour, just a real life example of the violent shaking from the road surface. The road is quite narrow so the entire surface gets used frequently as people park on one side so even though the most severe damage appears to be at the very edge of the carriageway particularly outside the area around Number 7, it cannot be easily avoided. Whilst I know there are budget issues across the whole road network, I genuinely feel the entire lane needs to be resurfaced, not just dressed.

I recently logged a request to fill the pot hole outside number 10A Clint Lane, this area is particularly bad as cars park outside their houses so the pot hole cannot be avoided. I was told the pot hole had been repaired but it had not. Please can you investigate why my request was closed.
