A15 corner of Temple Road opposite Robin Hood Pub

Reported via desktop in the Standing water covering more than half the road category anonymously at 12:04, Monday 12 January 2026

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 2868888.

When storm Goretti occurred, the volume of water flowing off the A15 and into the village of Aslackby exacerbated the general level of floodwater in the village. We were advised by Lincs CC that a programme of works has been identified that would carry the water to the east of the village but this work has been rescheduled as lesser priority. It remains an issue that makes flooding in Aslackby in extreme weather extremely likely and we would like confirmation of when works will be commenced please.

  • We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the drainage condition and have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County's drainage network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.
