Outside 31 & 29 Worcester Road

Reported via desktop in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 19:59, Monday 12 January 2026

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2869052.

Continuous nuisance parking on the grass verges has led to kerbstone collapse and damage. Grass verges are becoming unsightly and rutted. This nuisance parking is a hazard to pedestrians and vehicle movements. Some form of bollard installation would prevent this nuisance getting out of control. Part of the path outside 31 has been damaged by a heavy vehicle and is deteriorating further now during the cold weather.

  • Thank you so much for replacing the kerb, the repair to the kerb has been fixed and completed but the root of the problem to prevent vehicles mounting the kerb and grass verge still remains. At the other end of Worcester Road you dug in a line of wooden bollards to prevent the nuisance parking, could you do the same along this stretch? It has become the norm now for vehicles to mount the verges and make a mess of the grass verges. I take pride in my neighbourhood and I really would appreciate it if you could prevent this situation continuing.
