Manhole cover outside 53a high st, Gosberton, Spalding

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2869117.

Very loose and very noisy manhole cover. This is the third time I have reported this problem. I received an email on 12th Jan 2026 saying it had been fixed. IT HAS NOT. Please put someone competent on the job and get it fixed.

As of 29th January 2026, collapsed manhole cover still hasn't been fixed.

We have an update. Our highways team have issued this work out to one of their delivery gangs. We’ll let you know when the job is complete.

This manhole still hasn;t been fixed. We spoke to a team at the end of February who came out and put 5 cones on it and said it should be repaired by 6th March. These cones are now very damaged and will soon be serving no use. It is very dangerous.
