Drains are blocked and silted up. Reported over a year ago and still haven't been fixed. Previous case stated as not a priority and the case was closed in December 2024.

Thank you for reporting this matter. Whilst the County Council recognises the customers concerns about the blocked gullies the situation has not changed and we do not currently consider the issue to be a high priority. The gullies in the area will eventually be cleansed as part of the County Councils cyclic drainage cleansing program. Please note that the demand on the County Council's drainage cleansing resource is significant and all responses must be prioritised based on the severity of the issue reported where for example significant internal flooding of property and/or very significant flooding of A, B or C roads has occurred. Thank you for the update however the council draining services were present in the area about a month ago and although they cleaned the drain outside no 32 Washingborough Road they did not attempt to resolve the issues with the drains as reported.
