Pavement cracking beneath fence on Stewton Lane
Reported via desktop in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 15:57, Wednesday 14 January 2026
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2869442.
The pavement alongside Stewton Lane is cracking and falling into the property below. See photos. This is on the southern edge of the carriageway adjacent to building 1A. The crack is beneath the wooden fence and parts of the pavement are falling into the garden. This crack has continued to grow over recent months and will be a considerable hazard very soon, posing a danger to pedestrians. Stabilisation work is needed to prevent the crack worsening and ensure the pavement remains level and supported from below with solid and secure foundations.
