Abbey Road, Swineshead

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2869903.

Abbey Road was resurfaced last year and I, along with many other residents, would just like to say that the road is now a lot worse than it was before. There are loose chippings everywhere, which stick to the tyres on the car and also end up on the pavements and drives. The road is very noisy, whereas before it was a lot smoother. It is already showing bare areas. Where there are drains etc. the road is higher and therefore it feels like you are driving over a pothole. Infact it looks like an unfinished job which is going very wrong. A bit of a waste of Council and tax payers money?

We’ve been to the site and investigated the issue. We couldn’t get this sorted just yet and more work is needed. We’ll keep you informed about how this progresses.
