Investigating
C road off of B1188

We live at the bottom of a C road single track lane, off the B1188 Dunston. Road works and new 40mph signage was erected about a year ago on the B1188 however at the entrance of this road was a no through road sign this has been replaced with a National Speed Limit (white sign with diagonal black line through it) which means we have experienced a lot of traffic taking the wrong road, particularly large lorries which have to reverse and have churned up the edges of the lane. An inspector did come and check the works and said that this is the wrong sign and would report back and get it sorted. However this has not happened. Appreciate someone looking into this.
