On Beech road from Linden Avenue junction
Reported via desktop in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 12:43, Sunday 18 January 2026
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2870393.
There is a whole row of potholes from the bus stop to the junction with the B1188. These potholes you left as small ones when you repaired previous potholes in the exact same area. It seems to me that if all potholes , even the small ones had been filled with the larger ones last time repairs were done , this series of new holes would not have occurred and the costs of repeating the process would be avoided, Motorists are having to drive off line and creating collision possibilities.

Thank you for your message stating that the potholes I pointed out to you have been dealt with and the job is complete.!!! That is wishful thinking !! there are still 30+ potholes in the same area that have been left.. This is exactly what happened when you came last year to fill potholes in the exact same area . Those that you left last time are the ones that you had to revisit last week. The exact same thing will now happen .....the ones left this time will get worse and need filling. So as far as I am concerned you have not completed the filling in of the potholes reported. It is a most inefficient way of using your labour force, having to send them back to finish the job they could have dealt with whilst in the area. I don't know what criteria you use to assess which holes should be filled and which should be left. Whatever it is it needs a rethink and be changed to a visit system where all holes are filled at the same visit.. Very inefficient use of tax /council tax payers money.
I might also add that the same scenario has occurred at the other end of Beech Road where there are deep potholes left .

These many potholes are deteriorating daily with stones spreading on the road. It is impossible to drive from the B1188 on Beech Road without hitting potholes
