  Ongoing construction works are creating significant hazards for motorists. Failure to clear thick mud and slippery surfaces has increased the risk of accidents. The junction is already known for incidents due to poor visibility.

• Last week there were complaints about stones and mud on this stretch of the road. And there was a swift response and a very good job was done cleaning the road. I hope the construction company have to pay for the clean up.

• Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

• We’re sending you this message to let you know that an officer has attended the reported location and at this time no further action is required. The responsible party has taken steps to rectify the issue and road sweepers were observed cleaning the road at the time of inspection. If this becomes a persistent issue then please report this again and we will send an officer to reassess. Thank you for reporting this matter.
