Pothole on Dove Lane on left hand side of road heading towards Shore Road

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2871071.

The pothole is very deep and is getting bigger by the day. It is now approximately 18 inches across and 5 to 6 inches deep. When obscured by water it is incredibly dangerous. Dove Lane is a short lane so you will not be able to miss it. It is on the left of the road, before the right hand pull in travelling towards Freiston.

    Hi, I was informed by fix my street that the pothole had been fixed. It has not been fixed at all, it has gotten deeper and now spreads further across the single track lane making it unavoidable. The road completely floods here, as it was the day I had the email stating it was fixed. It's unacceptable and is going to damage someone's car soon!

  • Can not take pictures at the moment, as it is under water You can not avoid it. It has now spread from the edge of the road to the middle It has certainly got deeper since the previous person reported it

    Very deep pothole very dangerous when covered with water

    Is this pothole ever going to get fixed? Highway maintenance have closed the road twice and both times managed to miss the pothole and fill in each side of the lane. The pothole was initially reported to you in December, that's 4 months ago now and nothing has been done. It's the Boston running festival this weekend and the marshals have just painted round the pothole. Soon there will be no lane left to drive on
