I take this road once a week for a recreational activity that I pay for separately. The potholes along this road are beyond the average; they're dangerous. I've actually taken to bringing my washing along with me now as taking my car down this short stretch is proving more effective than my tumble dryer. My car has taken numerous, very concerning bangs and clashes going barely 5-10 mph down this road and I'm genuinely concerned for my car's safety. Id go somewhere else if I didn't already pay a large fee to attend this one business location.
Get it fixed. I pay road tax for this very reason.

Yeah so wanted to add an update to this as I felt it was necessary to comment following today's actions.
My wife, child and I attended for our weekly Swimming Lessons today and we're informed at 8.50am (10 mins before our session ended) by another parent who was allowed in, that workmen were "closing off the street" in 30 minutes, 20 minutes from when our session ended.
I will tell you right now, that was utterly disgusting, unprofessional and at no point did any member of the work crew make an attempt to tell us themselves.
I am outlining several points that convey a total communication failure and poor standard of excellence from the services involved in this work.
1. Late Resolution. We were informed that the work was being carried out on Friday 13th (two days ago) and was surprised when we got here two days later than no efforts had been made.
2. Zero Communication. As previously outlined, not a single employee involved in the decision today came to let us know. Had another affected parent not told us, we may well have been closed in by the workers or affected in leaving. Beyond inappropriate not having the decency on letting those they were about to 'trap in' be made aware.
3. Poor Service Contact In line with the above, the services involved in making this decision failed to contact any people or businesses that operating today would have affected; clearly, as Swim Days were not aware this was happening nor prepared for any actions necessary. Swim Days were frantically contacting parents (10 minutes before sessions) that they shouldn't bother coming in which ultimately could impact on service trust and incur financial penalties. Future sessions for today had to be cancelled which ultimately will mean Swim Days are likely going to have to consider apology fees to those affected; is this something that the council are going to compensate Swim Days for having to do as a result of your actions?
4. Dangers Incurred. Finally, given that setting up a full swimming session, the safe deposit of equipment, security measures in closing up, necessary dressing and further close-up process that the organiser had to do, the risks incurred in such a short time before the roads closed were borderline impossible and raised great risk to the tutor to get herself fully tidied away, dressed and out of the area before your team ultimately occupied the roads. My wife stayed behind to help her tidy up, whilst she did other bits and then got dressed which was unacceptable to ask her to do alone in such a short space of time. Your workmen failed to account for this and provided no means of relief or support in helping her close up to your schedule, a schedule we did not expect to have to abide by with such restrictive consequences.
This is something I can only assume I am not the first and will not be the last to comment on. The workers involved in today's road repairs or whatever they were doing need a very effective training session on pre-planning, communication and risk management for all jobs and I feel some form of compensation is absolutely due to the services impacted by the decisions made today.
I was very impressed how quickly Lincolnshire County Council agreed to address this issue when we raised the concerns, but the actions today have completely destroyed that experience and the future expectations of this organisation.
