Pothole

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2871737.

Just as you come off the Branston roundabout & enter Lincoln Road - a few hundred yards on the left there’s a large pot hole. I do believe it was filled in as an emergency a short while ago, the tarmac seems to have come out & there’s a large hole again. Cars are trying to avoid it & coming close to ongoing traffic in the opposite direction.

  • This is not the first time this pothole has appeared and even after a recent repair, has once again reappeared. Could the rectification of filling in this pothole be completed as a matter or urgency, as drivers are trying to avoid this pothole and this could lead to a serious accident occurring. Furthermore, vehicles that are hitting this pothole could face damage being caused to their vehicles.

  • Needs fixing urgently as getting massive again and having to drive in middle of road with oncoming traffic to avoid!! Very dangerous!

  • This is very dangerous. You have to swerve around it when there is oncoming traffic else your car swerves and puts you at risk of losing control. It is taking way too long and is putting lives at risk.

  • Couldn’t see this pothole due to being filled with rain, my tyre is damaged due to hitting the pothole this evening.

  • This is dangerous, you have to swerve to miss it and its very tight if there are vehicles coming the opposite way towards the bypass. It needs fixing properly as the bodge jobs that keep gettin done to a number of dangerous potholes is pointless and a waste of time and money because the amount of traffic that goes on these rds soon has the wacked down tarmac out.
