Sewell road

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2871652.

Multiple potholes along Sewell road at the back of Lincoln county hospital and outside the Peter hodgkinson centre up to the Francis Willis unit and past the renal unit. Road is in a shocking state and dangerous. Been like this for several years and getting worse all of the time.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • I don’t know what you fixed but there are multiple potholes along Sewell road at the back of Lincoln County Hospital, way too many to report each individual one separately. I don’t know how you can just fix one when the whole road is riddled with potholes!

    A resident asked if someone from Monks Road Residents Association could take some photos of the surface of Sewell Road as it is today, 5th Feb 2026.

    We were surprised by how quickly it is deuterating. While there we saw cars drive around the potholes and an HGV going directly over (in and out) of at least one pothole. If not repaired, we suspect these vehicles delivering to the hospital will rapidly make the situation even worse.
