On road
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2872092.
We were coming down the road at around half past 7 at night, adhering to the speed limits being cautious as we are a family of 4 going home after a fish and chips treat out. The hole is incredibly deep and hard to avoid when cars coming on the opposite side. We caught it and immediately the tyre was gone. We managed to get to and pull up outside the DMJ depot and check everything. Back left was fine but front left tyre was completely flat and luckily we had a spare and are knowledgeable to change a tyre which was lucky as having children in freezing temperatures and trying to tell them what is happening is a tricky situation. We have been made aware of potholes along this road and after phoning a friend about it once we had changed the tyre, he said it has been slowly enlarging over the last couple of months and has been reported numerous times however just left to cause problems.
