Constant noise every time a vehicle goes over it can be heard over 200 yards away residents unable to sleep

  • Any update on this? I don't want my car going down a 2' square shaft if the drain cover disintegrates.

    Dear Sir or Madam,

    I am writing to report a defective drain cover located on the A153 in Anwick village, adjacent to the local shop on River Lane. The drain cover appears to be loose or damaged, and every time a vehicle passes over it, it creates a loud banging noise. This occurs continuously throughout the day and night, and it has become a significant disturbance. The repeated noise is causing ongoing disruption and is affecting sleep on a daily basis.

    I would be grateful if this issue could be inspected and repaired as soon as possible to prevent further disturbance and any potential safety risks.
