Green Lane from Manor House Farm Cottage

I have complained about the state of the Lane before and placed a pin outside my house. When you came to do the repairs, you did not come far enough towards my property. The workmen said they did not know there is a house further up from where they had been told to do the work. I had already told you that many people who have a lower car cannot get to me; in fact several delivery drivers have refused to come to my house. In desperation last summer, I hired a digger and removed the hump in the centre of the lane that has been catching on the bottom of the cars. Of course this is a temporary solution because the weight of the farm vehicles and the dustbin lorry will soon recreate it.

On Boxing Day, I got a puncture and had to be towed into the farm yard. I have an electric car which was too heavy to take to my house. I had to have an emergency repair on my wheel and a new tyre. Last Saturday, the repair to the wheel failed; fortunately I was at home and did not require vehicle recovery again. I have however had to have the wheel straightened and another new tyre. I had purchased 4 new tyres about a year ago so to be forced to buy 2 new ones in a period of 4 weeks is infuriating.

I am therefore reporting the state of the lane again in the hope that something will actually be done.
