The drain outside my property is blocked again. Meaning there is standing water on the road. All of the traffic passes through the village quickly and all the traffic is causing the water to hit my house. The windows, stonework and mortar are being damaged by this. Although I am repeatedly reporting the blocked drain it doesn’t appear to have been unblocked. My property is being damaged. I paid to have the motor replaced last year and I am hoping that you can cover the cost of this and other issues caused by this blocked drain. There are lots of tractors and heavy vehicles passing through which exacerbates the situation further.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
