Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2873203.

Issue previously reported, twice last year - case 2861005. Advised today that problem has been resolved but this is not true. Drain has not been uncovered resulting in carriageway flooding after heavy rain. Requires further investigation.

  • We have run into a small snag with our investigation and asked the reporter to update this report with some more detail. Once this is received we will progress our investigation.

  • The drain cover on the side of the road has been covered resulting in water not able to run off the road. This weekend water built up to the centre of the road & vehicles hitting it sent waves over our wall. The drain should take water under the road into the dyke between our field & the next field where the footpath crosses.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
