Main Street

Reported via desktop in the Standing water covering less than half the road category anonymously at 18:56, Friday 30 January 2026

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2873821.

I reported this issue over two years ago and it still hasn’t been resolved. There is a large stream of water running down Main Street from the track opposite the water tower. Walking on the footpath to get to the post box is tricky, as you risk being drenched in water from passing cars, also dangerous when icy. It’s also collecting in a huge puddle at the bottom of the hill along with water running out of Ashby Hall gardens; again an ongoing occurrence when we have heavy rain. Is this issue ever going to be sorted out?
