We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. Following your report to us, an officer has assessed the situation. The grass verges form part of the public highway and where there are no parking restrictions on the road or another reason for it to legally not happen, parking on a grass verge may happen. But, if this parking causes a highway safety issue with either damage to the surface or as an obstruction, then enforcement may be an option. As far as this case goes, we haven't found evidence of a safety issue which means that no further action can taken under current law. Thank you for reporting this matter.
