National Speed Limit section of East Street
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2875331.
I reported this issue on 14th October, Council Ref 2858493. LCC closed this as no further action stating that the street was due its annual cleanse at the end of the year.
I note another report was submitted after this by someone, with the same response. We are now in the heavy rainfall part of the year and have had several storms. The drains have got progressively worse and despite the response from LCC, the annual cleanse has still not been completed. Please can these drains be cleared as a matter of urgency, now that we are 3 months on from the initial report.
Rippingale has a history of flooding. I note that most issues raised on drains and flooding have been closed as No Further Action. As a Parish Councillor, who has been encouraging residents to use fix my street, this is very discouraging, as I am constantly being asked, what is the point in reporting issues, to have them ignored.
