Main street Doddington Lincoln mainly outside 1 teachers house

Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 14:28, Thursday 5 February 2026

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2875349.

Because the water from the main road doesn't drain the effect after 5 years is now casing issues with the houses so visually the brickwork to number 1 teachers house is constantly damp brick work and after 5 years I'm sure that this isn't doing any good to the House further down main street we have already had repair work done to another house because of the flooding

  • We are sorry we are unable to take immediate action on this enquiry. Whilst we are aware of issues relating to the performance of the highway surface water drains in the village these are linked to more significant pipe blockages/collapses along both Main Road and Lincoln Road. Major drainage repair's and/or improvement works are currently being considered but we are unable to provide timescales for these at this point in time. Should you feel your property is at risk your first action should be to contact the emergency services who will assess the situation and act accordingly. If your property has suffered significant internal flooding of living space already please can you let us know directly by contacting us via phone 01522 782070 or cschighways@lincolnshire.gov.uk quoting this enquiry number. Thank you for reporting this matter.
