I’ve complained about this pavement / road drains several times, and still nothing has been done to clear the PUBLIC FOOTPATH of the mud and silt that’s covering it made worse with all the rain we’ve had. I seriously need to bring to your attention that the footpath is so bad that pedestrians are having to walk onto the main road to avoid the mud/ silt and to make matters worse try and avoid the water that lay on the road which you will see in the photos attached. This is an accident waiting to happen and not acceptable. The pathway is used everyday by school children /people walking into the village to catch the bus to school and into Lincoln city walking dogs. I’ve jarred my back recently due to slipping again on this public footpath snd I’m still in pain and will possibly have to have physio if there’s no improvement and if this is the case I will seek legal advice regarding claiming the cost of the treatment to the council.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
