Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2875998.

Drain cover banging every time someone drives over it. It is a very busy road therefore the banging is constant. Highly irritating. The issue has been present for numerous months. Reporting this as it isn’t something you would notice is an issue if you didn’t live here.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Whilst we are not taking immediate action the cover has been assessed and our contractor will be asked to return to carry out remedial work in due course. Thank you for reporting this matter.
