Man hole cover in road loose and making excessive noise at all times day and night not helped by speeding cars Lorrie’s buses ect. Man hole located between 4 an 6Kirk Road

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • Whilst we are not taking immediate action the cover has been assessed and our contractor will be asked to return to carry out remedial work in due course. Thank you for reporting this matter.

  • Can you give a timescale please on when this will be repaired, there is constant noise all day everyday and at night when abiding by the speed limit is ignored , I start work at 5.30 am and I am woken frequently throughout the night thank you Mark
