Outside 17 Rotten Row, Pinchbeck

Reported via mobile in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 22:03, Saturday 21 February 2026

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2879997.

Huge pothole caused by standing water. Root cause is insufficient drainage that has been reported previously. It was assumed incorrectly that the drain was blocked but this is not the case, the waste water does not flow to the drain. Debris is all over the footpath and on the driveway of number 17. Water continues to damage the brick wall.

  • The team came out to fix the pot hole yesterday, but I believe they were meant to take the repair to the drain and increase the curb height? Anyhow, day 2, and the drainage / waterflow is the same as previous. Unfortunately, we're back to the same position raised a couple of years ago - standing water, damaging wall, creating mess etc etc.
