Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2880809.
Two foot diameter hole right on the junction. Where all of the cars need to be. Causing swerving and dodging and general cahos.

This Large, Deep pothole has Not been fixed in the last 2 months and is getting larger by the day. I First reported it in January 2026, as have several other people. It was half filled with water today (27.2.26) and was an even bigger hazard to motorists, who often have to swerve to try to avoid it. It is also only a very few yards from the Double Potholes just before the junction. I spoke to a woman at LCC on 25.2.26 who said that engineers said the repair needed traffic lights and she had no idea when it would be fixed. This is now URGENT and all Three deep potholes on Station Road East need fixing ASAP before there is an accident on this corner.

Photos taken 28 February 2026. This hole is now well over 2 months old and getting bigger by the day. It needs fixing urgently, before a vehicle is damaged or some one is injured by flying debris. The road and pavement are covered in stones etc around the hole. The adjacent double pothole less than 5 yards away just around the corner ALSO needs fixing AT THE SAME TIME as those 2 holes are also deep and dangerous! The nearby double potholes are between St John’s Church and the carpark, close to the bus stop. Please Fix ASAP.

We have an update. Our highways team have issued this work out to one of their delivery gangs. We’ll let you know when the job is complete.

On Wednesday 11th March 2026 NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN! Cars still swerving on junction, any motorcycle is in extreme danger turning in, especially in the dark!

23 March. Damaged road still not fixed. There are not any yellow markings round it which are applied when it has been assessed.
