It is close to the kerb edge but is often encountered by vehicles when farm traffic, articulated lorries or buses are coming in the opposite direction and is a common area for car parking for school traffic at the beginning and end of the school day. It has been in the road getting on for 5 years now, ever since I have lived in Surfleet and growing slowly larger.
