The previous repair work carried out at this location has not been fit for purpose. The patching applied has failed again within a short period, especially after the first spell of poor weather. This suggests that the method used—likely jet‑patching or a similar quick‑fix approach—is not suitable for the conditions here. A properly prepared, long‑lasting tarmac section repair is required here. This approach will provide a durable, cost‑effective solution rather than another short‑term fix that quickly fails.
