Road closure Between Maurice Chappell Way and Porthouse Drive
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2882850.
Signage for closed road in an inappropriate position - it stops residents from easy access to homes and allows drivers to either move the signs on a regular basis or to mount the kerb and drive on the pavement and beyond onto the grass where children regularly play to get around the signage. Vehicles witnessed doing this on a regular basis and many vehicles not even slowing down to get around the signs. I believe the closures on Milestone Lane and Crossgate Lane are sufficient to stop the “rat run” and the Flaxmill Lane closures are overkill and due to the flagrant disregard by many drivers are causing a risk to pedestrians and playing children. Please review urgently.
