Old Hall Lane (junction end with Herdgate Lane, running parallel with The Lanterns fence)
Reported via desktop in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 14:57, Friday 6 March 2026
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2883218.
These potholes, which have been filled in by Highways on several occasions over the years have become much worse, causing the actual side of the road to now collapse creating a deep gulley. This is causing vehicles, mainly lorries & tractors to drive over the opposite side of the road, causing the grass verge and field edge to be eroded. The potholes are very deep and as the lane is so narrow it's very difficult to avoid driving into them, particularly when it's rained and they are hidden beneath the water.
