Mill Lane, Irby in the Marsh, PE24 5BB

Reported via mobile in the Wheel tracks or ruts category anonymously at 17:48, Friday 6 March 2026

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2883261.

The road is used by Big lorries and Tractors using it as a cut through from Gunby to Wainfleet. The road was resurfaced last year and the road surface raised by 100mm, this has meant the verge is a substantial drop off the side of the road. The whole road has been widened by misuse and the verge has many ruts and holes deeper than 75mm, and much deeper if you take into consideration the new road level. The verge really could do with some attention now as it's becoming dangerous.
