Drain on grass verge outside 13 Parkside

Reported via desktop in the Damaged dyke, ditch or culvert category anonymously at 20:10, Monday 9 March 2026

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2883697.

My property (13 Parkside) has subsidence issues. The drain from the verge runs down/through my property to Mill Hill. Flowline were checking all the drains about 10 days ago & recommended I contact you as there's a strong likelihood there could be a leak to the pipework which is causing the subsidence. The garage wall (which has a gas boiler mounted to it) is in risk of collapsing. My insurance company is involved & this drain is the only thing that hasn't been checked.

  • Please can you advise when this will be investigated. I don't want to proceed with costly subsidence repairs if there's a problem with the drain

  • Thank you for reporting this matter. Whilst we are unable to act urgently on this matter we are planning to carry out a full survey of the highway drainage system and the pipes/manholes within the customers property alongside surveys to be planned elsewhere on the estate. Once dates for these surveys are available an officer will contact the customer directly to gain permission to access the property. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
