Major issues with the uneven surface of North End

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2884050.

Huge problems with road surface on North End. I travel this road often and it's ridiculous having to swerve so much to avoid damaging the sump on my car. There are large vehicles that drive down here at high speed which definitely doesn't help. Rather than just patching the surface, which seems to be taking place but is just a very temporary fix, the entire road needs to be rebuilt properly.

  • We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the road condition and we have raised some repairs. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County road network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.
