Investigating
Stixwould Rd. LN10 6QG

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2886498.
About five weeks ago the 40mph speed limit sign approaching the village from the north on Stixwould Rd was changed to 30mph but the illuminated sign half way down the o=road which tell drivers what speed they are doing is still calibrated at 40mph. I have just watched 15 cars pass the sign and I noted thespeed displayed on the sign. One vehicle was doing 30mph. ,one was doing 51mph., Six were doing over 40mph and seven were doing over 30 but under 40mph. Obviously the sign needs recalibrating but also it would be helpful if some reminder signs were put up to show the speed limit is now 30mph. ..

I see that you have re calibrated the speed sign but the sign still lights up with "Thank you" when cars exceed the 30mph limit. Should it not say "Slow down" as others signs show? Also can we please have some of the yellow signs along the road to inform drivers that the limit is now 30pmh (like the ones on Witham Rd.)
