Investigating
Outside 44 Ancaster drive NG34 7LY
Reported via desktop in the Dying or diseased tree category anonymously at 15:16, Tuesday 31 March 2026
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2886969.
The tree had been previously marked for attention we assume by the council. Since then it has dropped a number of branches and twigs. There is partial growth starting but we have been told that was the same as last year due to the tree being in decline to the point of dying (hence it had been marked for attention). As you can see by the base of the trunk there is much decay. We are concerned the tree will fall on to our cars and or passing pedestrians who use the path next to the tree and grass. We also wondered therefore if the LCC have liability insurance to cover those potential eventuality’s. Please send an arborist to assess and remove the tree. Thank you.

I received notification and it was displayed on the Fix My Street webpages that this had been investigated and that works had been planned. I have now received notification that it is in the process of investigation! Which is it?
