Station road just past endeavor way

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2887017.

Recent repair in centre of road is sinking, no surface damage as yet, but its sinking so deep i nearly lost control of my motorcycle, its very dangerous, you dont see the sink until yr on top of it, dips in the road like this cause vehicles to loose control

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

    Significant dip that tips the car when driving over even at slow speeds. Considering the local speed capturing camera is recording higher speeds, this is more of a concern to safety

  • We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the road condition and at this time it does not require urgent repair. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County road network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.

  • Oh i see so when someone is thrown from their motorbike / scooter and is injured or killed we will hold you resposible for it, yr response is ridiculous, this dip in the road is seriously dangerous to road users, even in a car if you drive over it the dip causes the car to weave !, I'm going to put a complaint in to local MP's
