Short Ferry Road - from B1202 toward Short Ferry

Reported via iOS in the Road Markings category by Andrew Price at 15:39, Tuesday 7 April 2026

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2887595.

This area has suffered badly with fly tipping for some years. The area has looked quite shabby and the regularly flooded road meant the area looked unloved. Now the flooding has been resolved, I have carried out a detailed litter pick, so the area looks a lot better. The white line markings have all faded. In an effort to really make the area look better, reducing the likelihood of fly tipping by applying the Broken Window Theory, could the lines be painted again. Aside from their need to keep motorists safe, it will help in more ways than one. I’ve cleared and cleaned a nearby sign today too, so it’s starting to look a lot better now.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because Wragby Road, Bardney is due to be resurfaced / major scheme work in 2026/27 so lining is something we would look into after these works have been completed. Thank you for reporting this matter.
