The problem exists in the drains on Corby Road, one at the entrance to The Manor House and other drains on Corby Road, opposite Newton House and School House.

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2887727.
The roadside drain outside of The Manor House is blocked or has been disturbed. As a result, following heavy rainfall, the drain overflows and overflow from the residential properties overspills down the road. Further photographs can be provided. This issue has been reported previously (most recently in December 2025) and has been an issue on off for 4-5 years since roadworks were carried out on Corby Road, and we assume disturbed the drains. Prior to these works, no issue existed. Over the weekend the drains were over flowing again. Bates Environmental attended The Manor House and have confirmed that the septic tank at the Property is in a good condition and that the issue was likely caused by a broken or blocked drain. Anglian Water have attended today and have confirmed they have investigated the issue and that it is not being caused by any of their equipment. Therefore, the issue must be a highway issue.
