There are multiple large dangerous potholes in the road of houses including 20 goldsmith walk, which have been there for over two years at the least. Please see photos attached. The largest two are in the centre of the road pictured and many smaller ones surrounding this in the area of the cars parked.
The potholes are significant in size (1 metre) and depth, measuring in excess of 40mm. They present a serious hazard to all road users, including motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians. Of particular concern is the risk it poses to elderly residents—my elderly father and mother regularly use this road on foot, and the condition of the surface creates a clear danger of trips, falls, or injury.
This hazard is clearly dangerous and poses a foreseeable risk to the public.
Given the depth and severity of this pothole, it meets the criteria of a dangerous defect and requires urgent attention. I am concerned that, should this issue remain unresolved, it could result in damage to vehicles or serious injury to pedestrians or cyclists.
